Bookgrrl is Steph McGlinchey, a librarian working in a special library in Melbourne, Australia. I live in Ballarat, 100kms west of Melbourne in regional Victoria. I have two children, a husband and an internet addiction.
There She Goes started in May 2009 and is a personal blog. I like to write about my life which includes family, op-shopping to satisfy a vintage clothes/bag addiction, cooking, crafting, lipstick and lingerie. I’m passionate about reading, and writing, sometimes to the exclusion of other pursuits!
I have recently completed a Masters in Information Architecture, so I will also write about usability, web design, as well as library-related news and happenings.
I will review books, films and websites, but these are ones which I usually come across or pay for myself. Please email me if you wish me to review something.
I don’t review prams, baby products or ‘mummy’ products, as I really don’t see myself as a mummy blogger, and I may not give the product the review you may necessarily want.
I see myself as a personal blogger, as I write about my life and share reflections on issues and things which interest me. I am more than just a mum, more just a librarian- I am writing for my enjoyment and hopefully yours as well.
